Ah yes, now here’s a song that we can all relate to, because it is timeless hell yeah who doesn’t remember their first experience at the beach, the hot sun, the smell of the ocean, the feeling of the warm sand beneath our feet, lying in the sun getting our first tan of the season, the smell of the concession stands, Pizza Hot Dogs and French fries and not toClick here to continue reading
Hello everyone and welcome to a brand new year. I am extremely excited to tell you all the GrinninBarrettBand will be releasing new material. Writer in Disguise is the first new release written by myself for the band featuring our new lead guitarist: Pete Early who really kicks it up a notch. Pete is well seasoned when it comes to his guitar playing as he can play almost any kind of lick.
Such a pleasure working and recording with him.
Also a very big thanks to my brother Michael Barrett of 3miMusic Productions who recorded and produced this song.
Hope you all enjoy our new song
PS There will be others which I am releasing soon so stay tuned
Have a Great Week!

Do you remember your first car? Here’s a PIC of the first car I ever owned 1962 Oldsmobile Starfire, this is not mine, but one just like it even the same color. Is it Back to the Fifties or Sixties or Back To The Future? All the same to me! This car rocked! It will always be a part of me, and i miss her!
H’mm I do think I can relate to these times, was I there, I’ll never tell, how dare you ask! None of your business, just kidding, you took me serious? are but I made you Smile Gotcha!!! Hell Yeah!
GAS was about .29 cents a gallon and everyone drove an 8 cylinder if you drove a 6 cylinder, oh hell I don’t have to say anymore, do I? I didn’t think so.
It’ was different times then, no cell phones and no computers, wow imagine that!

Hello everyone and welcome to our blog oh yeah Happy Weekend on this Sunday March 17th 2013 It’s been a while since my last article and now I am here to celebrate and write about a truly Great Artist Bradley Edward Delp (June 12, 1951 – March 9, 2007. Hard to believe it’s been six years since he has passed.
My reason for writing this article is to share with you not just his accomplishments with Boston but with his role in Orion the Hunter, RTZ and later Delp and Goudreau and of course his pet project beatlejuice (Beatles Tribute Band)
So let’s start with of course Boston! It was the year 1976 and the music scene was experiencing many different music genres all the way from Boz Scaggs,
Heart, Peter Framton, Thin Lizzy, the Ramones, Steve Miller Band, and yes the famous Paul McCartney and Wings and many other great acts, to manyClick here to continue reading

You know I have to admit, I was never in favor or Electric over Acoustic drums but after reviewing this video, I have to admit, I’m very impressed with this Kit, it has all the bells and whistles, for the modern day drummer., why think of it, control of volume for room settings. Most of the gigs today’s for musicians are in smaller venues, why not have the control over your drum sound, loud or soft, you the drummer and the master of your domain, I kind of think you’re the boss here! Why not, it works for me how about you!

What do I like about this performance by Great White, Everything! Why because it’s Live and its Raw no over dubs here, a band performing from their heart and soul. No big time arena here, just a local club atmosphere, that’s the beauty of it,A band and its fans making the connection, to me that am what Rock is all about.
It’s kind of sad to see Great White is now two entirely different bands, the Jack Russell Great White and Mark Kendall and his version of Great White who just recently released their new album “Elation” featuring (I’ve Got Something For You)
Not a bad song and featuring vocalist ( Terry llous)
Since its release, the album has been met with mixed to positive responses. William Clark of Guitar International wrote, "Those memorable blues rock riffs that scatter Great White’s biggest hits are in excess with Elation." Sleaze Roxx gave a mixed review,Click here to continue reading
